This week’s trailer is 5” Channel Equipment (CE). This trailer is equipped with an 83” wide deck and built on a 5” channel frame with 3” channel crossmembers on 16” centers. This makes it a solid mid-sized trailer for hauling equipment like skid steers and tractors or vehicles like motorcycles or ATVs.
The CE comes with an HD 2 5/16 coupler with an adjustable channel mount. This setup helps match the trailer and tow vehicle’s coupler height. This trailer also has an 8K Pro-Series, drop-leg jack to further assist with hitching.
This trailer is also equipped with a premium, all-weather wiring harness with a robust silicon, insulated sleeve that helps protect against the elements. The CE also has an added spare tire mount attached to the front for easy access.
The CE’s open sides make it ideal for loading materials from the side. These can easily be secured with rubrails or optional stake-pocket D-Rings.
For the running gear, the CE has two 5,200 lb. Dexter axles with the EZ-Lube hub system coupled with removable, lightweight aluminum fenders.
This CE also has multiple tail options available. This trailer is equipped with 5ft, slide-in ramps with a 2ft dovetail and rear support jacks for additional stability when loading equipment and vehicles.
